Billing Policies
1. Annual subscription, paid up front
Congregate Classroom is sold as an annual subscription. The full year’s price is charged at sign-up, and again at each renewal. There are no monthly payment plans.
2. How your price is determined
Your subscription price is based on the average attendance of your main worship service (or, for non-church organizations, your regular or required number of users). You’re responsible for entering an accurate number.
3. Your price is locked for the full year
Once you start a subscription year, your price is fixed for that year. If your attendance grows or shrinks during the year, your price does not change until the next renewal.
4. Annual renewal
Your subscription automatically renews each year on your anniversary date (i.e., the same date you originally signed up) until you cancel.
Before each renewal:
- Within 30 days of your renewal date, we’ll ask you to update/confirm your attendance number.
- We’ll send you the renewal amount at least 30 days before you are charged.
- Your renewal price may go up or down compared to the previous year, depending on your updated attendance.
5. Payment methods
We accept credit cards and debit cards only. We do not accept checks, ACH transfers, or other payment methods.
Your card on file is automatically charged at each renewal.
All charges ( including your annual subscription, renewals, and store purchases) will appear on your card statement as DP MEDIA GROUP, the parent company and provider of Congregate Classroom.
6. Failed payments
If your card is declined at renewal, you have a 7-day grace period to update your payment information. If we are not able to successfully charge a valid card within 7 days, your access to Congregate Classroom will be paused until payment is received.
7. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from the Billing section in your admin panel.
When you cancel:
- You keep full access to Congregate Classroom through the end of your current paid year (until your next anniversary date).
- Your subscription will not auto-renew.
- You will not be charged again unless you choose to reactivate.
What happens to your data after access ends:
Once your access ends, your data, purchases, and files will be permanently removed from Congregate Classroom and cannot be recovered.
Before your access ends, you can export your classes, lessons, notes, and purchases as CClass, Word, or PDF files. These exports let you keep using your materials outside the platform or transfer them to another Congregate Classroom installation in the future.
We strongly recommend exporting anything you want to keep before your access ends.
8. No refunds
All payments to Congregate Classroom are final and non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Your annual subscription fee, in full or in part
- Renewal charges, including renewals that occur because cancellation happened after the renewal date
- Any purchases made from the store
- Unused time on your subscription after cancellation
Cancelling does not result in a refund; it stops future auto-renewals.
9. Store purchases
Any materials you purchase from the Congregate Classroom store can be:
- Charged to the card you have on file, or
- Paid for with a different credit or debit card entered manually at checkout.
Store purchases are separate from your subscription and are also non-refundable.
You can export your purchased lessons to PDF files before any cancellation if you wish to keep a static copy of your purchases.
10. Your content
You own the content your organization uploads to Congregate Classroom. Your subscription gives you the right to use the platform; it doesn’t give us ownership of your materials.
